The Dominican monastery on Brac is one of the most attractive offers of Croatia. In a unique idyllic setting, surrounded by two pebble beach’s lies this beautiful complex from the 15th century. The monastic garden is laid out with Mediterranean plants. In the cloister there is a museum in which century old manuscripts, books and documents are kept. The old church invites to a contemplative stay.

From end of April until mid October a beach holiday with the special atmosphere of a monastery can be combined here. Recommended is above all the stay in the early and off-season.

Taking in guests

In the monastery lives a secluded Dominican convent consisting of six persons. Twice a day services take place: early in the morning a service in the monastery church and in the evening a service in the village church of Bol. The monastery is arranged for taking in guests, women, men and also families can spend the night in the monastery.

Lodging & catering

The lodging occurs in simply furnished cozy rooms or apartments with shower/WC. Sea view upon request. The guests are catered in the monastery with breakfast, half or full pension. The food is very tasty and rich - wonderful Croatian kitchen! The olive oil comes from the own production.
