The house of the Holy Francesca of Rome in the Ponte Rotto lies in the center of Rome, in the suburb of Trastevere, near the basilica of the holy Cecilia and not far away from the Tiber Island. From here you can explore easily many places of interest of the town - by bus or on foot. The cozy, ambitious city part of Trastevere invites to strolling and walking through the alleys with the numerous beautiful little shops and cafés.

For many centuries the spiritual house of the Holy Francesca served as a residence of the noble dynasty of the Ponziani. The saint Francesca of Rome, the spouse of Lorenzo de Ponziani, inhabited this house for 40 years. In this time she accomplished numerous miracles and worked in the area Trastevere with valiant mercy. She died at this place on the 9th March in 1440. One whispers that her good soul still moves around the halls of her beloved house...

The Casa Francesca offers an informal ambience. All 30 rooms are furnished cozily and dispose of WC/Shower, air-conditioning, blow-dryers, phone and TV. Furthermore three conference rooms are available for bigger groups. The pretty inner courtyard and the small chapel on the first floor offer time and space to rest and pause.

Breakfast with tasty Italian coffee specialties is between 7:30-9:30. You can have lunch or dinner wonderfully in the numerous surrounding small restaurants or cafés. The reception of the Casa Francesca is open 24 hrs, thus no closing time!
