Gozo - If you are looking for rest and peace in harmony with nature, you are exactly right on the small clear island of Gozo. In winter and spring a thick carpet of blossoming herbs and luscious flora covers the island. In summer oleanders, bougainvillea and geraniums stretch themselves against the sun. Small bays invite to sun bathing and swimming. The wonderful old Augustinian monastery lies on the outskirts of the small town Victoria. The center of the town with its small lanes and wonderful fruits and vegetables stands can be reached on foot. On the island itself you can move uncomplicated with public means of transportation and undertake small excursions. The particularly nice red sand beach ('Ramla Bay ') is accessible in approx. 20 min by bus.

Taking ín guests
Three very friendly Augustinian monks live in the monastery. The guests are warmly invited to take part in the services and prayers (in the morning and in the evening before the meals).

Lodging & catering
The accommodation occurs in simple, comfortably furnished double rooms (also for single use) with shower/WC. The catering in the monastery consists of simple dishes that are typical for the country. The vegetables often also come from the own monastery garden. The half pension contains breakfast and lunch as the monks eat warm for food for lunch. In the dining room a fridge is also available to the guests.

Guest care
The very friendly guest brother speaks English and is a contact for the guests. Our German-speaking travel circuit Alexandra comes when required to you to the cloister. Beside island tips and help with emergencies, you can book with her also excursions, mountain bikes and hired cars.
The prayer times of the monks are everyday twice: in the morning at 07:30 o'clock and in the evening at 18:30 o'clock.
